Entrance marks the northeast entrance to George Merrick's beautiful city of Coral Gables. La Puerta del Sol, the original
gateway built in 1927, was recently renovated and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Grand
Ballroom has a splendor perfectly suited for receptions, parties, or meetings. In addition, the venue
offers a smaller archroom, and a plaza/courtyard area featuring a unique fountain that is a replica of the one in Barcelona,
Spain.... A magical area for any ceremony. Douglas Entrance offers generous parking, elevator access and various areas
accomodating anywhere from 25 to 500 guests for any special event.
